David Bosland

David Bosland is a U.S. intellectual property attorney and founder of Bosland Law PLLC, a Washington-based virtual law firm focused on U.S. trademark, copyright, and brand protection. The firm advises businesses in the United States and abroad on protecting, enforcing, and monetizing their intellectual property and brand assets, including in disputes that arise on online platforms.

David enjoys helping entrepreneurs, creators, and businesses understand the legal tools that allow them to build and protect strong brands, and regularly publishes legal insights and educational materials and participates in discussions about intellectual property issues.

Before entering the legal profession, David built a management career supporting technology initiatives across several industries, including cellular telecommunications and banking. He has worked with companies such as T-Mobile, AT&T, Washington Mutual (WaMu), and Coinstar, along with experience in the medical field.  

For the past two decades, David has also served as a ski patroller at Alpental in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State. In that role he provides emergency medical care, advanced transport of injured skiers, and on-hill safety support. He is also deeply involved in training other patrollers in emergency first aid, alpine transport, chairlift evacuation, and other mountain safety procedures. David has served on the patrol’s board, including multiple terms as patrol director.  

Outside of the office, David enjoys travel, outdoor adventure, scuba diving, and cooking. His wide range of experiences helps him connect easily with clients from many industries and backgrounds, and he looks forward to meeting you.
