Predictable support for repeat platform and content issues

Reduce takedowns, complaints, and account problems — without unpredictable legal costs.

Selling online or creating content almost inevitably means dealing with copycats, false claims, and platform enforcement systems that don’t always get things right. These problems often repeat — even for legitimate sellers doing everything correctly.

Proactive Protection works like insurance: most of the value comes from nothing happening. You get readiness and a fast, correct response when something does — not hourly bills that make you hesitate to ask a question in the first place.

Three coverage levels are available below, based on how often issues come up and how much is at stake when they do.

Good fit if: you sell on one or more major platforms, you've already dealt with takedowns, complaints, or account warnings, and you want predictable support instead of one-off firefighting.

Probably not a good fit if: you only need help with a single, isolated incident (start with Issue Triage instead), you expect constant monthly activity regardless of need, or you're looking for guaranteed outcomes — no plan can eliminate platform risk entirely.

Comprehensive coverage for high-risk or multi-platform sellers.

Specifically for established sellers, brands, or creators operating across multiple platforms where takedowns, complaints, or account disruptions materially affect revenue or operations. Comprehensive includes everything in Expanded Coverage, plus:

  • Multi-platform coverage

Ongoing support for recurring takedowns, complaints, and enforcement issues across multiple platforms at once, not just one.

  • Attorney-lead platform communications

Preparation and submission of platform-facing responses and correspondence when issues require a formal legal posture.

  • Strategic oversight to reduce repeat disruptions

Pattern recognition and guidance designed to reduce how often issues arise and how far they escalate.

  • Highest-priority handling

Issues are addressed ahead of lower-tier matters when timing matters.

  • Preferred rates on additional IP related services

15% discount on work outside the subscription scope, including registrations, maintenance support, or complex enforcement.

Included drafted work — takedown/counter-notice responses, platform-facing letters, and cease-and-desist correspondence, combined — is limited to up to four matters per quarter across your covered platforms. Additional matters in the same quarter are billed under our standard flat-fee schedule at your 15% subscriber discount.

This plan prioritizes continuity and preparedness. Some months may be quiet; others may require focused attention. The objective is fewer emergencies, faster resolution when issues arise, and less disruption overall.

Matters that become unusually complex, adversarial, or time-intensive may require hourly support or a separate engagement. Any such transition is discussed in advance.

Comprehensive Coverage $699/mo

Expanded coverage for sellers and content producers facing repeat platform issues such as takedowns, complaints, or platform disputes and want predictable support without hourly billing for every issue.

  • Routine takedown and counter-notice support

Guidance and preparation for DMCA or trademark-related takedown responses arising in the normal course of business.

  • Platform-facing communications

Attorney-prepared letters or submissions to marketplaces (such as Etsy, Amazon, or similar platforms) for infringement or defense issues, when appropriate.

  • Cease and desist correspondence

Attorney-drafted cease and desist letters for straightforward infringement matters.

  • Priority email support

Faster response times for covered issues, so questions don’t sit unanswered while problems escalate.

  • Discounted additional services

10% discount on services outside the scope of the subscription, including registrations, litigation support, or complex enforcement.

  • USPTO support (limited scope)

Preparation of one letter of protest per quarter for an issue identified by an examining attorney (government fees not included).

Included drafted work — takedown/counter-notice responses, platform-facing letters, and cease-and-desist correspondence, combined — is limited to up to two matters per quarter. Additional matters in the same quarter are billed under our standard flat-fee schedule at your 10% subscriber discount.

Expanded Coverage $299/mo

Baseline coverage for occasional platform issues.

This is for sellers or creators who want a safety net for infrequent takedowns, complaints, or notices — without committing to hourly billing or a heavier plan.

  • Quick Issue Triage

When something comes up, we take a first look and tell you whether it's something to act on, watch, or ignore — usually within 1–2 business days.

  • Early issue identification

Help understanding what happened, what type of issue it is, and whether action is required — before small problems escalate.

  • Attorney oversight

Every issue you raise is reviewed through a legal lens, so you don't take a misstep or make an admission that makes things worse.

  • Predictable monthly pricing

A low-cost way to maintain readiness without worrying that every question triggers an open-ended bill.

This plan covers review and guidance. It does not include drafted letters, platform-facing correspondence, or negotiation on your behalf — if your issue needs a formal written response, we'll quote that separately under our standard rates. Many clients on this plan go months without needing assistance. The goal is that when something does happen, you get a fast, clear read on it — and know exactly what the next step would cost before you commit to it.

Baseline Coverage $129/mo

What to expect from ongoing protection

These plans are designed to provide coverage and readiness for routine platform and content issues — not constant legal activity. In a well-functioning protection relationship, there may be long stretches where there is little or nothing to do. That is an intended outcome.

When issues arise, responses follow established, platform-specific processes appropriate to the selected coverage level. If activity becomes unusually frequent, complex, or time-intensive, additional work may be handled on an hourly basis or may require a plan adjustment. Any such transition is discussed in advance.
